Going Green with your Invitations
In honor of Earth Day, here are some of our favorite eco-chic ideas to make your invitations as green as possible:
1. Use a sustainable paper like cotton. We carry a beautiful and affordable line of letterpress which is all printed on gorgeous cotton paper. Here is one of our favorite designs from this line...
2. RSVP Postcards and online rsvp services are all the rage. (If you choose to use an online rsvp, make sure to still have a few traditional rsvp cards print up to send to any of your guests who may not be computer savvy.) We love RSVP postcards because they save you the cost and the waste of the return envelope and also cost you less in postage.
3. Forget the inner envelopes!
4. Use recycled paper - most of the paper that we carry is at least partially recycled.
5. Shop locally - this will help cut down on your wedding's carbon footprint by saving on shipping fuel and packaging materials. (Plus it supports your local economy which is always a good thing!)
